Tennis for a Cause at PAC Benefits Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

On Saturday, August 31st, 2013, PAC pro Maureen Harwood hosted a tennis clinic and lunch at Portland Athletic Club to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) . The fundraising event, led by Team in Training (TNT) participant Randall Eckerdt, helped raise money for LLS, an organization working to advance new treatment and cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. After running doubles drills and play time with Maureen from 1-3pm, players headed to the lobby for food, refreshments, and socializing from 3-5pm. Everyone had a great time and three lucky raffle winners took home Players Racquet Club gift certificates and other tennis goodies. Best of all, due to a great turnout, Randall raised over $700 for a great cause! Thank you to everyone that came out and participated.

  1. This is really a beneficial event through organizations are functioning fund-raising programs and therefore, they used to take the help of tennis by hosting matches. In these kinds of fund-raising programs, we can get better opportunities to show our talent and alternately contribute our best towards social welfare.
